QQ moar about two sigs in rotator, you don't even want to know how many I have. Anyways, in regards to the person who lost their brushes. Brushes are not needed to make good sigs, in fact lots of effects can be done with simple smudging techniques and C4Ds. I'll make a sig topic as well. None of my sigs use downloadable brushes. No offense to you Renny, your's are all great as well. xD

but yes just by using smudges and the filters for effects you can make awesome sigs....
I'll try to find one I did without brushes that doesn't suck tho a lot of mine I had in another photobucket account that I lost lol.
edit: /sigh I lost 90% of the ones I did with out brushes. only decent one I have left is this...
and its not very good either lol.
I really need to practice more.

Pretty much all of my sigs are done with an altered smudge 13 hard pixel brush and some time. Also, I have 70 sigs in my rotator. xD

Honestly 45 minutes is probably the longest I've ever spent on a sig. Maybe the longest I've ever spent would be an hour, but that's because I had pauses to get Pizza Pockets and drinks. =P

I use GIMP, and I never use brushes. 0.o Should I? Someoe make a tutorial about GIMP and making a good sig. Cause I fail.

GIMP is essentially the same as Photoshop, just slightly harder to navigate the many functions. Also in regards to not ever using brushes, I don't either and I plan to keep it that way. Look in my sig topic, all of those sigs can be done without custom brushes. Infact the ones I made for Renny, Wiigi and Traia have no brushes at all.

anyways, made a new one
if anyone wants I will put their name on it.
I used a few basic brushes to add a bit of a light effect but that's all, and I'm actually happier with how it looks than the ones I made when I was using all those grunge/abstract brushes.
